Come walk with us to defeat ALS

Posted on May 25, 2016

Please join the Honourable Mauril Bélanger and friends on June 11th for the Ottawa ALS Walk.

On March 9th, 2016, the day Mauril became the  Honorary Speaker of the House of Commons, Prime Minister Trudeau urged Canadians to donate to research for this devastating disease. He said: “Canadians pride themselves on looking out for one another, and I join the Leader of the Opposition in urging everyone to give their time and financial support to organizations that are working so hard to find a cure for this terrible disease.”

On this note, I would like to encourage you to join us on June 11th  for the Ottawa ALS Walk or to donate to the Team / Équipe Mauril to help us reach our team fundraising goal of $25 000.

The Ottawa ALS walk will take place on June 11th, 2016 at the Canadian War Museum (1 Vimy Place, Ottawa, ON, K1A 0M8). Check in time will be at 10:00 AM and the 5km walk will begin at 11:00 AM.
