Posted on September 17, 2016

Please join us for a Public Consultation on September 20th at All Saints Church at 317 Chapel Street from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to share ideas on Electoral Reform in Canada.

Federal electoral reform is part of the Government’s stronger democracy  agenda. The Government of Canada has committed to have a new voting system  put in place before the next federal election. These reforms will be aimed  at better representing the views of Canadians and improving public trust in our political system.

Following a short presentation by Mark Holland, Parliamentary Secretary to  the Minister of Democratic Institutions, we will be asking the participants  to share their ideas about Electoral Reform in Canada.

This Public Consultation is open to all residents of Ottawa-Vanier, and we  thank you for sharing this invitation with your network.

If you require further information, please call us at 613-947-7961.
